I grew up in Saudi Arabia and had a set of your books. I think my<\/div>\n
parents must have started buying them for me because I loved unicorns<\/div>\n
and your Morgan books were definitely my favorites.<\/div>\n
That was a whole lifetime ago. Now I\u2019m 44, a newspaper photographer<\/div>\n
living in Northwest Montana and today I had to photograph the local fair.<\/div>\n
After sheep and pigs and steer I made my way to the rabbit and rooster<\/div>\n
barn. There was so much cuteness to fall in love with, but I went looking<\/div>\n
for the long-eared rabbits that I\u2019ve always been kind of obsessed with. I<\/div>\n
desperately want a Holland Lop of my own.<\/div>\n
One of the breeders asked me why I was so specifically drawn to that<\/div>\n
breed since I have no experience with pet rabbits. I couldn\u2019t pinpoint it.<\/div>\n
All I could tell her is that I think it came from a story when I was a child.<\/div>\n
I told her about a wonderful set of books for kids of animal stories and<\/div>\n
beautiful drawings. As we spoke I mentioned \u201cserendipity\u201d but I couldn\u2019t<\/div>\n
quite make the connection.<\/div>\n
Until I got back to my office and googled serendipity and children\u2019s books<\/div>\n
and of course, it led me to your website.<\/div>\n
Yours are still some of my favorite stories. Before writing this letter, I<\/div>\n
searched Amazon and was immediately transported back to the world<\/div>\n
of childhood loves and the friends your characters were to me. What a<\/div>\n
gift this day has been!<\/div>\n
As I scrolled through the titles, most of them known and loved, I found<\/div>\n
the connection that I couldn\u2019t quite put my finger on earlier: Leo the Lop.<\/div>\n
It made me smile.<\/div>\n
I love your stories. I\u2019m desperately wishing now that I had kept those books<\/div>\n
and I\u2019m getting ready to choose which ones I want to order. But before I do<\/div>\n
any of that, the first thing that had to be done is to write a note of thanks.<\/div>\n
I could almost cry over the memories this day has stirred up for me. So<\/div>\n
many blessings have come my way because of this. And my childhood<\/div>\n
was also blessed.<\/div>\n
So, thank you for what you created, for how far your stories reached, for<\/div>\n
how they meant the world to me and to so many others.<\/div>\n
I didn\u2019t get much of a photo of my Lop today. I didn\u2019t need him for the<\/div>\n
newspaper, so I put the camera down pretty quickly and was just about<\/div>\n
